Chicago Collegiate is a public school open to all Chicago students. We serve special education students, English Language Learners, talented and gifted students and everyone else who applies. The only information needed to apply to Chicago Collegiate is a student's name, residency in Chicago and contact information. No test scores, grades, recommendations or behavioral history will be taken into consideration. Chicago Collegiate is committed to equal treatment of all individuals. Chicago Collegiate does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic or national origin of services.
We are currently accepting applications for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades for the 2017-18 school year. Our application deadline was February 27, 2017 and our lottery was held on March 1, 2017. Students are accepted on a rolling basis from that point forward, as long as there are spaces available.
Students may also apply for a transfer to the current school year. There are currently immediate openings in 4th grade; however, enrollment information is dynamic and can change rapidly. Siblings of current Chicago Collegiate students have preference in admission. Any students who apply to grades where we do not have openings are added to the waitlist in the order they are received. If you want to submit an application for a transfer in the 2016-17 school year, please call the school at (773) 536-9098.
This online form MUST be filled out by a parent/guardian. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our school phone number is: (773) 536-9098; ask to speak to Kim or Jade.
